Career at Streichenberg

Streichenberg offers trainees twelve months of practical preparation for the bar exam. While university courses impart the necessary theoretical knowledge in isolation, the job of an attorney-at-law requires the ability to interlink different fields of law as well as an in-depth understanding of the legal context.

The key points of the requirement profile for a substitute position can be found on the Streichenberg website. What else does a substitute at Streichenberg need to bring to the table? (soft skills, personality, etc.)

As a junior associate at Streichenberg, you must declare proactive work to be your credo. You are not expected to recite all legal theories off the cuff, but to work out concrete solutions for legal issues and to respond to the wishes of your clients.

What activities can you do as a substitute and what do you learn?

At Streichenberg, junior associates are given insight into many different areas of law. The focus of the work is on legal research, the preparation of court submissions and communication with the client.

What are your expectations for your internship?

As a junior associate, I would like to be encouraged and challenged. I would like to sharpen my awareness of problems when assessing legal issues and learn to apply the fundamentals taught in my studies in daily practice.

What expects junior associate at Streichenberg?

For this reason, trainees at Streichenberg are not assigned to just one partner; instead, they can get involved in all areas and are actively encouraged and guided. This gives them a broad insight into the different fields and activities. They have contact with clients and authorities, learn what is needed for a court brief, and how to compose a successful legal document. This requires a desire to learn, flexibility, and absolute reliability.
